CURRENT WORK: ACTION RESEARCH & COLLABORATION

Through leading Pier Projects, my curatorial practice explored the context of the coast and its relationship to health and wellbeing - otherwise known as ‘blue health’.

Current research and collaborations are extending this thinking to ‘green health’. Living in Suffolk, the bread basket of England, I am undertaking a period of research and development to consider how the principles of agroecology, social permaculture, ecopsychology and the Transition Movement might inform curatorial approaches and creative infrastructure.

This research and test projects will be guided by a slow, seasonal philosophy and grounded in an allotment-based practice.

My starting point is ‘food’ both as a way of being and as a way of knowing - and how this informs our understanding of our interdependence on nature.

The ways in which this research unfolds, will be shared here.
